Tong Wei was born in Alor Star, a town in northern Peninsula Malaysia. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya in 2005, and awarded Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians, United Kingdom in 2009. Currently practising in the Department of Medicine, Hospital Tuanku Ja'afar Seremban, he is an enthusiast in traditional Chinese culture and has participated in many international Chinese calligraphy exhibitions. Tong Wei was also one of the main singers in several Buddhist hymns albums, and writes articles regularly in Buddhist magazines. He loves back-packing to various countries and capturing the wonderful moments during his travel through the lens. Being a perfectionist, Tong Wei is passionate about all he does..

The Chinese seem to be doing their "ke kanan lurus" better than their Malaysian counterparts. :P
