Have used Otel.com to book all the accommodation during our Europe trip. Came across Otel.com since our honeymoon in Egypt. It's one of the many hotel-booking sites available. U can get hotels at a price much cheaper than the desk rates. When we were in Egypt, we even managed to get 4 to 5 star hotels at a super cheap price. Another good thing about this site is that it gives you rebate credits everytime you book a hotel and you can use these credits to get further discount during your future bookings.

All the prices quoted are per room per night, inclusive of breakfast except the one in Avignon. But one thing to be careful is you need to search for the location of the hotels very carefully on google maps cos some may be very far from the city center or tourist spots. If that's the case then it would not be a good idea to book such hotels. Hope this post can be of help to some of you!
