France 3 - Avignon 1

A snap of the Provence from the train which cannot portray its beauty. It was the beauty of picture-perfect Provence which inspired talented artists like Cezanne and van Gogh.

It was really a good time to visit Avignon cos the yearly Avignon festival was on! However all the nearby hotels were fully booked months ahead so we had to get one which was out of town. There were posters everywhere for publicity of the theatre performance there.
