The underground - one of the main public transport that Londoners and tourists depend very much on. When it got paralysed - like during the 7/7 incident few years ago, or when the staffs go on strike like they've just done for 2 days recently - much inconvenience is caused.
Underground station will be crowded during rush hours...
...but relatively empty other time of the day.
GW's uncle, Uncle Wayne and his wife Aunty May were very kind to us during our stay. They brought us to Fulham Broadway one sunny evening...
And treated us with a splendid Thai food dinner.
Some snaps of London icons...
Red double decker.
Cabbie.
Bobbies.
Postbox.
Red telephone booth is everywhere in London. This photo shows a booth with Big Ben in the background and a busy Londoner passing by.
On the other hand, black booths like this is less commonly seen - actually this is the only one that i spotted so far. Wierd.
But with mobile phones being so popular nowadays, most booths are seldom utilised. But one thing for sure is it has served these advertisers well! :)
Oh ya, one thing bad about London - dirty! People simply throw rubbish everywhere! They should impose strict rules like in Singapore perhaps!?
